Terms & Conditions

We provide ultrasound scans of your baby.  All of our scans are completed by a fully registered midwife sonographer and sonographers, formally radiographers.  With your consent, we will carry out a fetal ultrasound scan of your baby. By agreeing to these terms and conditions you are aged 18 or over. We do not provide obstetric ultrasound imaging services to anyone under the age of 18.

If the sonographer is concerned with the growth of your baby or an anomaly is detected, this will be discussed with you and you will be referred to your local hospital for further investigations.  A report will be provided at the end of your scan.

Please note with our 3d/4d imaging we will not routinely be looking for an abnormality, however if an anomaly is detected we will advise you accordingly.

Please understand and accept that we do not have access to your full medical history and therefore cannot provide medical advice relating to any diagnosis or advise you on any diagnostic results.

We strongly recommend that you access all antenatal services made available to you by the NHS.  These scans do not substitute your NHS scans. All anatomy scans are performed by the NHS. We do not perform anomaly scans.

Please note the quality of images vary from person to person.  We will try our best to achieve optimal images for you however if you are unhappy with the images provided, please notify the sonographer.

Scanning time will last no longer than 30 mins, depending upon the package booked.

A further re scan will be offered at no extra charge if baby is being camera shy!

Your signed consent and a medical questionnaire will need to be completed upon arrival of your appointment.

Please note no photography or recording is allowed in the ultrasound studio.

Gender scans can only be performed 15 weeks or later. If your baby is measuring less than 15 weeks gestation, a further scan will be booked at a later date. Gender confirmation can never be confirmed 100% accuracy.

A £10 deposit is required to secure your booking.  This can be paid online with debit/credit card at the time of booking.

Please note an ultrasound scan will not exclude all abnormalities.

Cancellation of Booking

By making your booking, you agree to our terms and conditions.

Should you wish to cancel your appointment, at least 24 hours notice is required for refund of your deposit.  However, if you fail to notify us after this period no refund will be given.

Smoking is strictly prohibited on or in front of the premises.

Complaints Procedure

We always work to ensure our clients enjoy their experience. However, if you were unhappy with the service provided today and wish to make a complaint, please email jen@catchaglimpse4d.co.uk. We will respond to your complaint within 7 working days.  We will ensure your complaint is dealt with fairly and in a timely manner.  If we fail to resolve your complaint to your satisfaction, then you can escalate it to Care Quality Commission (CQC) https://cqc.org.uk and or the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) https://www.nmc.org.uk.
